It's summertime again and Athens66 is finally off to sunny beaches for vacation. It's been a difficult year, with lots of great music though. 2010 has proved to be the comeback year for music, with amazing records and lots of great new bands. Finally, after a month or so we came around to opening our Albums section of our site. The idea is pretty simple; here we will post/stream some of our favorite albums through the help of GrooveShark. These are albums we personally recommend, so give them a listen and if you like them as much as we did then don't hesitate to support the artist and buy the album. Israeli forces have attacked Freedom Flotilla this morning (a peaceful convoy of ships carrying humanitarian aid to the besieged Gaza strip). News reports (although minimal official information is flowing around) are mentioning 14 to 16 dead among the Flotilla, mostly Turks on board the lead shop "Mavi Marmara". I've been away for a couple of days due to sickness, but it seems that was the perfect timing from DMCA's point to start sending me notices. I've received a couple in the past but never two in a row in just two days. But wait, is it simply about the music I posted? (which of' course is not even hosted by me). Is it a coincidence that both notices were about the two albums I simply said they sucked big time? Isn't it very convenient that they only complaint about my reviews regarding the hopeless...

So they removed my video from Youtube and deleted my post...but what the heck...here's the official one (although it's been aired a couple of weeks now).PS. It's insteresting how many more songs are titled Papillon. Take for example The Airborne Toxic Event (which is quite known actually).PS2. However, the more rare one is this one from Rilo Kiley, taken from their debut The Initial Friend E.P back in 1999. Now this is a real charm!
