I've been meaning to write about this new Greek band for some time now. Tango with Lions are Katerina's Papachristou band, where she writes and sings all of the songs. Their debut Verba Time was released a couple of months back from Inner Ear label and it's one of the best Greek releases this year. Katerina has a really beautiful and unique voice that ties in wonderfully with her folk compositions. It may not be a groundbreaking release, yet I've come to love the record and have featured numerous tracks from the record on our weekly Sunday show on Poplie Radio. It's also a great companion for your summer vacations...highly recommended!
